One child to school today

So... Today was my very first day only homeschooling one of my kids. Emily started kindergarten.

I've decided one child is SOOOO much easier to school then two.. We just had so much fun.

It's going to be fun to see how each kid grows. Hannah and I had so much fun today. We get to do school just me and her 2 (sometimes 3) days alone. I think it's going to be good for her and me!

Emily really enjoyed her first day of school. I'm not sure which we'll do next year. But with the baby on the way and the problems I've been having with this pregnancy, it's going to work for this year.. We still will be homeschooling three days a week. So it's only 2 days less of  homeschooling..

New Plan

Right now in my life, I've decided that being the ONLY educator of my oldest is just to much... I'm kind of sad. But I've been feeling for a while that we should send her to Kindergarten...

Tonight we're going school shopping and on Monday we're re-enrolling her in school. It's only 2 and 3 days a week. So we'll still be able to homeschool 3 days a week.

I think this will be good for her.. and for me.. Sometimes I guess I need to be selfish.. And this is one of those times...

Cherry Tree

So, my camera is broken, and my back up camera broke.. So. I'm stealing pictures.. and wishing I could take pictures of all the cute things we are doing during school.
Today Emily learned about George Washington during history. We also learned the story of the cherry tree. For craft I thought it would be really fun to make cherry trees. But instead of cutting out the leaves and the trunk, we tore and glued them. It was really fun. Then I used my circuit an made tons of little cherries. And we glued them on.
It was TONS of fun for all three kids. I've been trying to include Abby when doing the crafts. And it's pretty cute to watch her, and see what she interrupts how to do the craft.
