This really has been a hard decision for us to make.
I'm having a baby in November, and it would be kind of a break not to have 4 kids at home everyday all day...
But we haven't found as many pros to public school as we were hoping for. In fact there aren't very many pros at all... so..
I think for now we are going to try to continue to home-school. It's still not completely decided. Though, I was suprised how my kids took it when I told them I think that's what we were going to do. I told them we would take other fun classes like cheer and swimming.. And I think that's all they want, just some out of the house fun time. So, I think that's what were going to try.
We'll see if it changes in the next few months.

ReplyDeletei just wanted to say that you should also look into charter schools. they are a great option in idaho/utah.
ReplyDeleteKaitlyn- a lot of the charter schools have been shutting down here in Nampa. Melissa- we are really going to get our HS group up and running this coming school year, so hopefully that will lighten your load and get your group out of the house a little more. It really is so much fun to homeschool, but both methods of schooling have its pros and cons. Just remember to do what YOU feel is best for your kids. :-)
