So, We're getting better at doing stuff. And FHE is something we're working on.
Tonight I'm excited about FHE. When I was at the temple on Saturday, I remembered how peaceful and clean and calm it was. Tonight we are going to see how our home rates compared to the temple..
We're going to be Temple Inspecting Agents. And probably make badges first and have a clip board with paper to list the changes.
And we are going to make a game plan on making it feel more like a temple here. I'm hoping the girls will pick up on having to be cleaner.. Something we've been working with them on for a while.. We'll probably make some goals and check on them everyday to see if our house is becoming closer to the temple.
We are also going to take out our temple book and look at pictures of all the temples and such. I'm excited. I think it will be fun and helpful..

Week Two.
Am I really doing this? I keep asking myself.. and wondering if it really is the right thing.. But the more I talk about it with Bryan the more he agrees this is what we should be doing.
So on to week Two.
Here are some of the things I have planned.
Froggie (or ladybug) math. This includes counting, doing simple addition problems, and stacking skills.
Then I got the "Ordinary Parents Guide to To Teaching Reading" So we're going to start that.
We are also going to continue with the worksheets for Hannah that help her learn to write better. We are also going to continue Emily's sight words... Today she was really proud she spelled "To" and she spelled "Cat".. She was so proud. Awesomeness!
We're still watching our plants to see if they've grown and documenting that.
I need to think of some fun crafts to do.. But I'm going to go to the store and get this book that I think would help.. it has month crafts and stuff.. so we'll see.
I think tomorrow we are going to make a flag out of paper (paper strips and glue) for Memorial day.
Post any ideas or whatnot you have! I'm way open for them!

Ideas, Ideas, Ideas.
There are soooooo many ideas going on in my head. Seriously, I'm really getting excited about doing the Preschool at home. My mind is probably going to explode with ideas.
What we've been doing so far. I'm really trying to take one day at a time and see what will work. But this is what currently we are doing..
We get "Special Time" which is time I work with the girls each one on one. We trace over a mat that has all the letters on it. Emily can write all the letters, and Hannah can write more then I thought without using the mat. But I think it helps them fine tune the letters.
Then we do some work book pages. Emily and Hannah both have different work books. Hannah's is teaching her the ABC's and also teaching her the numbers (like how to write them). Emily's workbook is focused on sight words. Then with Emily I also do some math worksheets that I find online. I also am using paper cut out bugs to see how far the girls can count on their own.. and everyday I'm going to try and push them a little further. Emily can count pretty much to 100. And Hannah is working on getting through the teens and then she'll probably be able to count to 100.
We are also doing a science project. We are planting three veggies in test tubes and watching them grow.. We will plant a carrot, green onion, and radish. Then I'm planning on having them check it every day and draw what it looks like.
Tomorrow we are also going to start doing a calendar. They will be able to see what day of the week it is, what month, and what the weather looks like outside. This is so that they'll be able to get the concept of like tomorrow and when things happen and such. The girls will be able to take turns putting up either a sun for sunny, or a cloud for rainy or cloudy.. (i didn't find any rain drops yet). So they'll have fun with that.
I'm trying to think of fun crafts... maybe something to build up to Father's Day? I don't know yet. I just have to think more into it.
I also am going to try and have a theme each month (or maybe every three weeks.. because thats how long we can check out books at a time at the library). The first theme is Dinosaurs.. it wasn't the kit that I wanted from the Library.. but I refused to leave without one! :-D
Okay. Time to go be a mom/wife/housecleaner/cook.

Finding my Joy!
There are a lot of things I find joy in. My family, my friends, and my hobbies. This blog is going to be more focused on finding joys in my hobbies. Hobbies that include teaching, scrapbooking, sewing, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, reading, and so much more. This is going to be a blog a little less focused on my family and more focused on finding myself again. I am a mother of three wonderful little girls who are currently 10 months, 3 years, and 4 years. I also have a husband that loves and supports all my crazy ideas... And here is the place I am going to write about them, explore about them, and hopefully learn more about things. Pretty much my way of ranting and letting my ideas out of my head!!! I'm excited!
